A small note on privacy
Just a count.
This blog counts article page requests to help me understand which subjects interest readers. The counter stores only the article path, the date in Europe/Berlin, and a total for that day.
It uses no analytics cookies, browser storage, tracking pixels, or visitor identifiers. It does not store IP addresses, browser details, referrers, or URL query strings. It cannot identify readers or follow their activity between pages.
Known automated requests and requests carrying Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are excluded. Refreshes may count again, some automated requests may still count, and cached visits may be missed.
The totals are private. This describes the blog counter; the hosting provider still processes requests to deliver and secure the website.
